Neither Roar Strand nor Frode Johnsen will play in Sunday afternoon's match against Viking. On the bright side, goalkeeper Espen Johnsen is back on track.
Today's training showed a full-training Roar Strand, but he will still be spared for playing a match.
"Roar's knee is not fully well yet, and as we don't want to take any risks he will not be playing," RBK coack Ola By Rise said to rbkweb.com after the training had finished.
When asked wether this is the team that would be playing if coming match was the opening match of the league, he answered: "Yes, that is right, appart from the two players that cannot play today."
Frode Johnsen got hit in the leg in Wednesday's international against Serbia, and didn't join the training session on Friday.
"I got hit right above the knee, and will pass playing Sunday's Viking match. I count on being able to train fully Monday, though, and the league opening is no problem," Frode Johnsen says to rbkweb.com.
