The fight for a place among the starting 11 is tough for Torjus Hansén, but he has not given up hope.

Since Torjus Hansén arrived at RBK last summer, he has not been able to secure a place in the starting 11, and has only played now and then - as a substitute. An unusual situation for a player that played on a regular basis in the Bundesliga and was a regular part of the National team before he came to RBK. But Torjus is not yet on a desperate search for a new club, and gives himself further time to prove himself worthy.
"As I have said all winter, the RBK squad is of a very high quality. The defense consists of three national team players, and one who could be there but doesn't want to. Obviously the competition is really tough," Hansén says to rbkweb.com.
How long will Torjus Hansén stay in RBK without being a regular player?
"My contract runs for this season and two more, and within that, I hope to have fought my way into the team," Torjus replies.
So, even if you don't get to play much, you accept this - you are not looking for a new club yet?
"It sometimes can feel a bit tough, but I must accept it. I have far from given up being one of the starting 11, so what I can and will do is fight for a place."
All in all it looks like Torjus really is intent on staying here, working his way into the team, and a change of clubs does not seem like an option for him.
