Sæther Moen soon back
By Håvard Lindheim, 7 May 2004, 09:59

Christian Sæther Moen's knee injury was not as serious as first believed, and the young left-winger hopes to be back in training over the weekend.

Sæther Moen had his knee operated

The 19-year old hurt his knee in RBK 2's opening match against Kolstad, and was operated at the Rosenborg hospital Friday two weeks ago.

"The doctors thought it was a meniscus injury, but it was (merely) an inflammation that had to be removed," Christian Sæther Moen writes at his home page.

The promising young Malviking (= from Malvik), that in long terms hopefully will be good enough to give Harald Brattbakk challenge on the left, is in other words soon back on the pitch.

"I hope to be able to play some next week," he ascertains.

Sæther Moen, that also missed most of the preparations in February and March due to a powerful concussion to the brain during a friendly against Tromsø, hopes he won't have to suffer any further injuries for a while.

"On a scale from 1 to 10 I guess I am 354 eager to get well now after many injuries, so I am eagerly looking ahead!" the youth finishes.
