Finally a Brattbakk goal

Possibly Harald Martin Brattbakk got hot by warming the bench. Anyway, he scored the first league goal of the season and secured a point against Vålerenga.

"It is never nice to be let out from the starting 11. We are a competing squad, and all of us want to start all the matches," Brattbakk says to Norwegian broadcaster TV2.
But twelve minutes before time, the goalgetter from Kolstad entered the Ullevaal pitch. After first having been hit by the 1-2 goal, Brattbakk hit back. Frode Johnsen did the preparations for his team mate, who outrun Kjetil Rekdal and hammered the ball into the net. Beautiful.
Just after this, Brattbakk could have made another, but the good low shot from 16 metres snuck outside of the goal post.
"I hope that the fact that I enter and score today, is proof good enough. I still can score," the 33-year old says.
Ola By Rise is happy that the veteran forward had his day after six games with no goals.
"Great for Harald that he scored today. With some luck he'd made 3-2 as well. The move to not let him start went exactly as planned," the RBK boss says to Norwegian Internet daily Nettavisen.
