Not only Rosenborg believes that Mikael Dorsin is a man for the future. In their report after the U21 European Championship in June, UEFA point sto the Swedish left back as one of Europe's great talents!
Sweden's U21-team impressed during the Championship in Germany, and finally lost 2-3 after extra time in the bronze final against Portugal. Dorsin was one of their best players.
UEFA finally has set up the All Star Team for the tournament. Dorsin and his countrymen Stefan Ishizaki (AIK) and Johan Elmander (Brøndby) are of the 11 chosen ones; the Italian champions dominate the rest of that team.
UEFA presents Rosenborg's new left back in this way:
«A composed 22-year-old left-back unafraid to get forward and join an attack. Began his career with Djurgårdens IF and after a spell at RC Strasbourg has signed for Norwegian champions Rosenborg BK. Already has five full international caps.»
This is the UEFA All Star Team:
Bonera (Italia) - De Rossi (Italia) - Bosingwa (Portugal) - Dorsin
