Goal-Daniel: "Enjoyable"
By Håvard Lindheim, 22 August 2004, 13:46
Yet again, Daniel Braaten came in towards the end of a game, and yet again, he scored.
He placed the last nail in the coffin against Lillestrøm in the first "league final" match, and blimey if he didn't do it again in the other "final" as well.
"This is just very, very enjoyable. Good to put the minutes I get into good use, and today it worked really well," a highly pleased Braaten tells us in the dressing room after the game.
Braaten stil hasn't started a single game for RBK, and doesn't try to hide that the peak form still isn't in.
"The stretch I have had has bettered, but I am not 100 % well yet," Braaten says.
It is probably too early, then, to count Braaten as a starting man the first weeks, but Braaten assures that he counts on finding the good old shape, and that he feels better each day.
Moreover, Braaten says that he feels very comfortable in his new club, and describes his team mates as a "great bunch". Football aside, Goal-Daniel now focuses on finding his own place to stay in Trondheim.
rbkweb.com wishes Daniel well in his future on and off the pitch.
