Want easy opponents

Trøndelag and Football-Norway is divided before the draw of the Champions League groups on Thursday. Some want big named clubs, while other want as easy opponents as possible. Ola By Rise is in the last category.
"We aren't here as tourists. We play to win games, and then it is obvious that we would like the second best teams," By Rise says to Norwegian daily Dagbladet.
Wants to reach the final stages "We have ambitions in Rosenborg," Ola states, and wants to enter the finals after Christmas.
RBK has twice managed to pass on from the first group stage, in 1996 and 1999. On both occations, Nils Arne Eggen was coach, and the legend thinks it is possible to copy the feat from '99 when they won their group over German league leader Borussia Dortmund and Holland league leader Feyenoord.
"Better than in years" "This can go as great as it has done earlier. I always think that. I guess that it was in 1999 we won the group and passed on. We had a complete team then, and luck with injuries. In some of the later years we have had problems with long-term injuries, but we haven't had such a big and strong squad as now. In all, it looks good," Eggen says to Norwegian Internet daily Nettavisen.
"But let's wait for the draw as well. The best teams in Europe gets ever better, but at the same time, it is very interesting that it was Porto and Monaco that met in last year's Champions League final. This shows that it isn't money that creates good teams, but good teams create money," Nils Arne Eggen states.
Draw on Thursday The aforementioned draw happens in Monaco, Thursday at 4pm. EuroSport and Viasat Sport 2 are among the channels that shows this live.
