Ola By: "This is party"
By Håvard Lindheim, 29 September 2004, 08:47

In spite of damaged key players, Ola By Rise sees no reason to be down, just before the first Champions League match at Lerkendal for two years.

"This is the joy of football. It was matches like these we dreamt of when we played the qualifying rounds during the summer," the RBK coach tells us.

An impressing press corpse showed up at yesterday's training session, with the following press conference at Lerkendal. The interest prior to the game is enormous.

"I understand that the opinion and that the man in the street has haussed this game up, but we still has a more or less normal approach to it. We will prepare ourselves just like we use to," Ola By Rise states.

He has much respect for Wednesday's opponent, but see no reason to be a pessimist in advance.

"Arsenal is one of the world's best football teams at the moment, and a victory against them would be a great scalp for us. We are not favourites in this match, and that can suit us well. The away team at Lerkendal never get a walk-over," Ola smiles.

What do you think the match will look like?

"Hard to tell. Arsenal has some extreme skills, and if they get the game into their tracks, it will be hard for us. We must have to avoid that. What we shall do to manage this, I won't say here at the press conference. Then I would have been very stupid or very arrogant," Ola By Rise says.
