Lots of compliments were given to Rosenborg from the Arsenal boss and the Swedish midfield star during yesterday's press conference.
"We have talked among us about how hard RBK are here in Trondheim, and how many big teams that have been beaten up here. So we do in no way threat this game easy," Fredrik Ljungberg said. Ljungberg played when Halmstad managed 1-1 against RBK in 1998.
Wenger continued to point to RBK's experience in the Champions League, and that they have beaten many big teams at Lerkendal earlier. Ljungberg gave praise to his countryman Mikael Dorsin, but apart from that, no single players at Rosenborg were mentioned. Instead, the Arsenal duo chose to praise RBK as being a great collective.
Still, it was no doubt that Arsenal first and foremost concentrated on themselves and their own gameplay, ahead of this important match.
