Brattbakk centre forward against DIF

It is noteable that Nils Arne Eggen once again has a say in picking the squad. Against Djurgården on Thursday, Harald Brattbakk does a comeback as a centre forward.
V
Brattbakk was the club's regular centre forward in the 1994-96-seasons. But since then, players like Sigurd Rushfeldt, John Carew, Frode Johnsen and to some degree Azar Karadas has had this role. In one of Eggen's last games, away against Inter Milan in October 2002, Brattbakk however had a guest role in the central position.
Now, the goal thief, with wet gunpowder in his boots, does a comeback. Harald Brattbakk has seemed sharp and fresh during the past few days, and hopefully he'll succeed in the Royal League premiére.
The new boss Per Joar Hansen makes a small formation change against Djurgården. He tries a tactical solution that also Eggen and Hareide barely tried in 2002 and 2003, to "turn" the midfield: The central midfielder will be a link between the midfield and the attack line, instead of linking the defence and the midfield. Then, as now, Frode Johnsen gets this role.
Robbie Russell has participated on the last training sessions, but has a knee problem, and won't take any chances. As a result, Mikael Dorsin plays right back against his old team mates of Stockholm.
Christer Basma, Vidar Riseth and Ørjan Berg are all recently under medical treatment and won't be ready for some time. Roar Strand also has to watch the game from the tribune after re-injuring his leg in the PSV match last week.
Kickoff at Lerkendal at 20.30. Norwegian broadcaster TVNorge shows it all.
Rosenborg's team:
Espen Johnsen
Mikael Dorsin - Torjus Hansén - Erik Hoftun - Ståle Stensaas
Jan Gunnar Solli - Fredrik Winsnes
Daniel Braaten - Frode Johnsen - Øyvind Storflor
