Last season for Ørjan

Ørjan Berg would very much like to end his career with his original side Bodø/Glimt. 2005 therefore looks to be the midfield veteran’s last season in Rosenborg.
The 36 year old’s RBK contract ends after next season, a fact not lost on Glimt’s management. They want to bring their old hero home.
“I’m flattered, and it’s a good thing for me that they ask. I appreciate that. It would be fun to end my career at Aspmyra Stadium,” says Ørjan Berg to local Bodø newspaper Avisa Nordland.
Berg will be having a chat with his mother club, in connection with Christmas holidays in Bodø. Him and his family have decided to move north when his RBK career ends.
“We will be moving home,” Berg confirms.
Originally, this is set to happen in a year’s time.
“This is how it looks at the moment. However, things have a habit of changing quickly in this business,” says Ørjan Berg, who knows that his successor on the Rosenborg midfield position may be ready shortly, in the form of Stabæk’s Martin Andresen.
PS! Ørjan had hopes of playing against Arsenal, following his knee-surgery on November first, but his hopes were soon dashed. Alongside Riseth and Basma, he is not expected back on the pitch until January.
