Ex-Rosenborg member Jan Halvor Halvorsen has been appointed coach for Swedish GIF Sundsvall. Christer George may be the first player he brings to his new club.
According to Swedish local newspaper Sundsvalls Tidning, George is highly interesting to the "Giffarna". George, who's also a rapper, has suffered under a lack of time on the pitch after returning from a year on loan to Spanish side Cordoba. A change of pasture is during the winter is not unlikely.
"I may be going, I don't know yet. I would consider any alternative so long as I get to play," says Christer George.
Øyvind Svenning, who is on his way back following the knee injury he sustained this summer, would not mind a reunion with his old Rosenborg buddy.
"From my time at Roseborg, him and Storflor are the two I still keep in touch with. Christer is a very nice guy and I believe he will fit in with the 'Giffarna' like a glove. It would be great fun to have him here," says Svenning.
