Arsenal follows Braaten
By Håvard Lindheim, 28 Februar 2005, 12:13

It is rumoured that Arsenal are interested in Daniel Braaten.

"I have had several talks with (Arsène) Wenger about Braaten, and he is interested. Wenger has followed Daniel for quite some time," the RBK-player's agent Jan Olsson tells local Trondheim newspaper Adresseavisa.

The Oslo lad was supposed to visit the English league winners last summer, but an injury stopped it. Instead, shortly thereafter he was ready for RBK.

Arsenal still haven't given up getting Braaten, and supposedly thinks about getting the player from across the North sea, as soon as this summer.

Daniel Braaten doesn't care about such rumours.

"Why should I? Arsenal should do what they want. I can't go around thinking about such rumours. I have other things, and important games a-plenty, to set my toughts to," he says.

On a side note, Skeid receives 30 % of the transfer fee if RBK sells Braaten.
