Not surprisingly, Rosenborg ends up together with FC Køpenhavnand Malmö FF in the second group stages of the Royal League. RBK starts with an away match in Denmark next Thursday.

Officially there was a draw in Copenhagen Friday at 13, but many things points to the groups being put together after the following criteria:

Clubs that met eachother in the 1st group stages shouldn't meet anew.

Malmö FF and IFK Göteborg were to be placed in separate groups.

The three group winners in the 1st group stage; Vålerenga IF, IFK Göteborg and Malmö FF, were not to be placed together.

The result was the following two groups:

Malmö FF
FC Køpenhavn

Gruppe 2:
Vålerenga IF
SK Brann
IFK Göteborg

All games to be played at 8.35 PM.

The group winners plays a final match Thursday May 26th, on the home ground of the team getting the most points points during the 2nd group stage.
