2 x Johnsen, Winsnes and Basma will within short be offered renewed contracts. The remaining will have to prove themselves, and keep free of injuries throughout 2005, to be allowed to continue.
"Neither we nor the players themselves are interested in continuing if there is no point in doing so," Sports Director Rune Bratseth tells local Trondheim newspaper Adresseavisa.
Of the four in question, Strand is probably the one closest to a renewed contract - if he wants himself. The midfield veteran stated as late as January that this will be his last season.
"The way I think right now, is that 2005 is my last season as a footballer. That decision is made, in principle," Roar Strand told local newspaper Trønder-Avisa.
The 35-year old has, however, played phenomenally lately, and he is still one of the pillars in the RBK team. Hence, it is not unlikely that he'll take yet another year before placing his shoes on the shelf for good.
The veterans Hoftun and Berg are in another category. Captain Hoftun is for the moment not close to the starting 11, and might well leave when New year comes. As of Berg, he has earlier been intent upon ending his career home in Bodø, and he can't possibly wait much longer than January 2006.
Third keeper Roar Husby might be asked to go to another club to be able to receive playing time.
