Jan Gunnar Solli had several occurances on the central midfield when Ørjan Berg was out injured. It wasn't a complete success, he admits.

The International has among other things had a high number of ball losses, related to failed passed and passings.
"It is important that he works to bring down the amount of errors," Per Joar Hansen told rosenborg.info earlier in March.
Now, Jan Gunnar Solli concentrates on these problems.
"I have had constructive talks with Per Joar Hansen and Rune Skarsfjord on this issue. We have taken a look at the choices I make, and I feel things are improving already. I have weeded out many of the errors in my passes now," Solli says to Norwegian daily VG.
The RBK player has also talked with his national team colleagues about this subject during the recent gathering.
"André Bergdølmo and I had a talk, and he said, honestly, that he some times didn't understand why I did like I did. To me, it is good to hear that my team mates notice what I do. 'Lower your shoulders', André said. And that is a point," Solli says, who was the only Rosenborg player on the field against the 0-0 match against Moldova in the qualifying match for the WC.
