Rosenborg - Bodø/Glimt 2-0

Rosenborg got a grip on themselves after a rotten first half, and as usual they took all three points from the all-yellows from the north.
TOP SCORER: Helstad struggled before the break, but put in his 9th league goal in the second half.

The home team really struggled hard before the break against Erik Hoftun and Bodø/Glimt.
"The first half was thorougly sucky. They should have been given a parking ticket, every one of them. It was a game of standing still. And in addition, they weren't calm when they had the ball, a factor that seriously reduced the quality of the passes. In all, it was horrible," Per Joar Hansen said.
A low ball from Helstad, who passed just outside the far post, was the closest thing RBK came to a score before the break. Glimt, on their hand, created a number of good chances, and in all it was Espen Johnsen who kept RBK in the game.
Perry spoke loud during the break, and it did help:
"It was good to see everyone stand up. We made some adjustments in the defensive play, and then managed to close up Glimt's right. At the same time we got many more movements because people started using their feet. Hence, we got a lot more alternatives for our passes too," Hansen analyzed.
However, the start of the second half was also slow, but things loosened up when a now-fit Frode Johnsen was sent on after 56 minutes. The lad from Telemark didn't need much time to find the net: Sebastián Eguren made a crosser from the right, and in front of the goal Johnsen rose as usual and steered the ball in by the post, with his head.
"It was good to see that ball enter the goal. And at the same time, the goal was important for the entire team. We all started feeling that a victory was possible," the scorer said to rosenborg.info.
2-0 came fifteen minutes later: Thorstein Helstad played the ball to forward partner Johnsen, got it back, and coldly placed it by the far post as a real goalgetter. Almost unnoticed, the Hedmark lad has now scored nine goals in the league, and shares the top scorer title with Bengt Sæternes, Egil Østenstad and Morten Berre.
Bodø/Glimt, who hasn't beaten Rosenborg in the league since 1979 (last away win in 1977) then more or less gave up, and RBK had no problems in controlling the points during the final minutes.
PS! Christer Basma had to leave the field with an injury. In came Bjørn Tore Kvarme, who finally was back after his sad inguinal injury, and played his first league minutes since the opening game against Aalesund in April.
