Johnsen to join Mallorca

Frode Johnsen is reported to have agreed a two-year deal with Real Mallorca. The transfer is likely to be settled after the 2nd leg match against Steaua Bucuresti.
"The match on Tuesday is very important, probably the most important this season, and it is comprehensible that the transfer is putted on hold until we know if there will be play in the Champions League or not. At the same time I want to help Rosenborg qualify," Johnsen tells local Majorca newspaper Ultima Hora.
RBK have rejected two bids from Mallorca, the last one was on €600,000, but Johnsen thinks a solution is close in time. The 31-year-old himself is reported to have agreed the terms for a two-year-contract with the Primera Division club.
"I want to play in Mallorca. The Spanish league is the best in the world, and all football players want to play there," Frode Johnsen states.
It is likely that the two clubs in the end agree on a transfer fee of 1 million euros.
