Per-Mathias Høgmo's previous club, IFK Norrköping, wants to buy Fredrik Winsnes. The player himself is not to keen on a transfer to the Swedish first division club.
"Yes, a fellow from the club called, and explained to me that they were creating a team trying to be promoted to Allsvenskan, the Swedish premier division. He asked me if I wanted to be a part of that," Winsnes told Norrköpings Tidningar.
The soon to be 30 year old player, who has become one of the veterans at Lerkendal, was not chosen at random.
"I have ties to the city. We have got a summer estate at Vikbolandet, where we spend much time. I know plenty of people there and my brother Peder played for Sylvia. Obviously then, I have got feelings for Norrköping, but the team is not in the Premier division at the moment, unfortunately," the midfielder said, and thereby rejected IFK as his new employer.
Fredrik Winsnes has got one year left of his contract with RBK.
