Bent Skammelsrud is now back, as an assistant in Rosenborg's junior departement. The legendary midfielder will be the assistant of Kåre Ingebrigtsen.

During the 2003-season, 'Skammels' functioned as a talent scout of sorts for RBK, leading regional football gatherings in cooperation with the local football authorities. The same autumn he was offered a 50 % job as assistant junior coach. Declining this, he ended his RBK relationship as of 1 January 2004.

Precicely two years later, he has accepted the very same job. The 39-year old has signed a contract for the 2006 season.

"I am looking forward to start working with Kåre. It will be nice to contribute to the club again," Bent Skammelsrud tells rbk.no.
