"The new Adidas outfit, with a completely new design, will not be ready until the league starts," Director of Sales and Marketing Erik Espeseth tells rosenborg.info.
Narvesen in colours Rosenborg have chosen the same type of outfit as the one Germany will use in coming summer's World Cup. A new collar, and coloured lines along the side seams, are the main visual differences from the 2004/05-design.
As rosenborg.info revealed in November, the club has decided to print the new Narvesen logo in colours.
"The reason is, simply put, that the market is willing to pay more for coloured logos. We are dependant upon income to be able to continuously improve the team and the club, and to maximise the income, the outfit will have coloured sponsor logos. The Narvesen logo is at least prettier than the one we showed in the autumn," Espeseth states.
Different UEFA cup outfit In the UEFA cup games this spring, the Narvesen logo will, however, be printed in black.
"On the European cup outfit it will be in black, as we only use one logo, and that logo will have a high degree of visibility. We tried using a black logo on the Tippeliga outfit as well, but it all gets a mix-up when the colours look bad together. At that, as said, the market is willing to pay more for colours."

The goal is, as said, to have the new 2006 outfit ready for the kickoff in the league, but RBK have a small hope of using them already against Zenit St. Petersburg on 15 February.
"I really can't tell yet. Adidas is not able to give a recise date. But we will start using it when it arrives," Erik Espeseth confirms.
Plans a release show Last year, the season ticket holders and supporters were invited to Lerkendal to see the new outfit and meet the players. This will happen again this year.
"We'll be having a kick-off event, just prior to the first match of the Tippeliga. The date is not yet set," Espeseth tells.
But as for now, the old outfit will be used, with the new Narvesen logo.
