Wants Kone after all

RBK has turned around, and wants the attacker Yssouf Kone from Burkina Faso.
After two weeks of test playing with Rosenborg during the club's stay at Gran Canary, and two halves in friendlies, the RBK management decided not to go for the player. The argument was, Kone was a good forward, but not better than the ones already in the club. Now, Rosenborg has turned - they want the attacker after all.
"We did a new consideration. After the Gran Canary games we were a bit short of time, and after having spent more time considerating we decided to go for him after all," coach Per-Mathias Høgmo tells local Trondheim daily Adresseavisen.
And he continues:
"He is from Africa, but he is well suited to our conditions. Earlier he has been in Europe (playing with Italian club Lecce as a junior) and speaks good English. In addition, we have considered him against the total market situation for attackers."
From what the newspaper experiences, Kone arrives in Trondheim on Thursday to sign a contract, and his price tag is supposedly "well below" the €850.000 that Rosenborg got from selling Alexander Ødegaard to Viking.
It remains to see wether Kone's arrival means that other players are leaving.
PS: "Kone" translates into "wife" in Norwegian. The bad puns have started occuring in the media already.
