Lago and Eguren not to Brann

Alejandro Lago and Sebastián Eguren does not wish to play for SK Brann, Bergen, in the coming season. Instead, they will most likely go to another club.
Last week, the two Uruguayans were presented for the media in Bergen, but now the two RBK players have changed their minds: They do not wish to be rent out to the all-reds.
"During this time, I think that their agent has talked with them quite a lot. Because suddenly, alternatives showed up. I then got a bad feeling, and I told Rosenborg that when speaking with them today. I asked, 'What is going on here? They don't want to go to Brann after all?'," Brann Sports Director Per Ove Ludvigsen tells western Norway daily Bergens Tidende.
Independent of the players' change of minds, Brann, RBK and the Norwegian Directorate of Immigration have had close contact throughout the week. The paper mill issuing from the planned transfers was bigger than expected.
"We have been in agreement for this loan deal for quite some time. But it became apparent that Rosenborg couldn't just rent out the players to us in the normal manners. The Football Association have different rules for NON-EEA-players, so we would have to take the full responsibility as employers as well. This we have been discussing with Rosenborg for some days now," Ludvigsen says.
As the players are not needed in Trondheim, RBK will - in cooperation with their agent Terje Liverød - try to find a more suitable club for the two players.
