Optimistic players

The RBK players believe in victory tonight.
Yesterday's RBK training session was held at the training field at Lerkendal, to save the grass on Lerkendal proper. The training mostly took form as small-field gameplay, and it was hard to guess any starting line from this session. It was held in a high spirit, and neither effort nor good prestations were amiss. After the training session, the players didn't hide their enthusiasm about the Zenit games.
"Of course it will be fun to play in the UEFA cup, and we're looking very much forward to it," Vidar Riseth confirms, expecting a tough battle against the Russian team where the Norwegian Erik Hagen plays. Earlier this winter, Riseth has discussed Zenit's qualities with Hagen.
"He told me that the team have superior technique compared with Norwegian standards, but their tactics seem somewhat lacking," Riseth tells.
It is expected that Frode Johnsen starts the game, and the player himself looks forward to many hard duels with his fellow countryman Hagen.
"He is big and strong, and gives everything in the duels, but he's dair. In all, I guess it will be some rough fights against him, but that's the way it should be," Johnsen smiles.
As the rest of the players, he viewed an optimism when it comes to advancement, but at the same time he isn't quite sure where his own team stands for the moment.
"We have a good chance of advancing, I'd say. And especially at home we should be quite able to win, which would give us a good starting point. Still, we're facing a good team, so it will be hard," Frode Johnsen says.
On a related note from the training: Alejandro Lago and Sébastian Eguren both took part. They looked to be quite fit, and did well in the gameplay sequences. Both might get to play against Zenit.
