Jahmir Hyka has started his second week as a Rosenborg player. How, he plans to get strong enough for the A squad.

The small-grown midfielder signed a three-year contract with RBK a week ago, and on Saturday he made his debut for the RBK reserve team in the winter league game against KIL/Hemne in the Abrahallen. Hyka was the best player on field, and dribbled in the winning goal in the 1-0 victory.

The 18-year old trained with the first team squad both last October and now in February, but so far he is part of the junior squad.

"My hope is to get to play first team matches during this year. But I need to work out. Must get stronger," Jahmir Hyka reflects to Norwegian daily Dagsavisen.

The transfer to the big Norwegian club has already created headlines home in Albania - a country not used to big local football stars.

"When I had signed, the Albanian papers wrote that Maradona had signed for Norwegian club Rosenborg," the youth smiles.

"Rosenborg is the largest club in Norway, and also a famous club in Europe. When talking to my friends back home in Albania, they tell me that they're happy on my behalf," Hyka finishes.
