The Rosenborg players have tested their stamina this week. Not surprising, the midfielders were strong.
As usual, the oxygen intake, measured in milliliters of oxygen per kilo body weight per minute, was tested. The results were positive.
"For instance, I can mention that Jan Gunnar closes in on 70 in O2-intake, which is the best he's ever had. Frode, Roar and Per are also high on the scale, The average for those four is not far from 70," a pleased Per-Mathias Høgmo can tell.
In comparison, the then-Aalesund player Morten Moldskred last year got measured to 85 ml - a record for a Norwegian football player. In 1997 the RBK squad was tested to an average of 67 ml, a world record in those days.
