"Best half of the year"

Per-Mathias Høgmo was very pleased with the prestation even though there were no goals scored.
After a period of rather weak play, a firm Rosenborg entered the field against Brann. During the first half it was play against one goal - but the ball just wouldn't go in.
"The result could and should be better, but the performance was highly pleasing. The first half was the best of the year, and we had enough chances to secure a comfortable win. But we just didn't manage to put it, and some times it is like that," Per-Mathias Høgmo tells rosenborg.info.
"During the second half, we start seeing that we have some players lacking match training, and the gameplay evens out as a result of players getting empty," he thinks.
The coming Tippeliga break is welcomed.
"We have had many players out with injuries; most of them are getting well shortly. It is no doubt that the coming free period will do us good," Høgmo says.
He does not wish to focus on the fact that his team still is ten points behind leage leader Brann.
"We are focused on improving, and the points will come as a result," Per-Mathias Høgmo ends.
