Rosenborg was close to losing on Lerkendal in the cup for the second year in a row, but Per Ciljan Skjelbred saved the day.

The midfielder threw himself forward on a heading from Frode Johnsen and scored the winning goal one minute before the end of the 2nd half of extra time.
"Scoring that goal felt great. Not having to do a penalty shootout was fortunate," Skjelbred told excitedly.
The match itself was not something that would excite most people. After an early goal by Iversen following a corner, the pace of the game was pulled down by Raufoss while Rosenborg struggled with their efficency in front of the goal.
"The result does not match the amount of chances we had, something which has been a problem at home for us all year. In the first half we had seven huge chances, and both Tettey and Storflor had the opportunity to easily score from six meters. When we don't score on those chances, this is the kind of result we get. We are not good enough when it comes to finishing our attacks," Per-Mathias Høgmo concluded.
Instead the 2nd division team from Toten got an equalizer early in the second half, when Male Berisha got rid of Vidar Riseth and scored.
Raufoss had a good goalscoring chance just before full time, but apart from that Rosenborg owned the game. But the home team did not get closer to a goal than a shot from Braaten which went in the goal post and a heading from Johnsen which ended up in the crossbar.
Therefore 2 x 15 minutes of extra time were played on Lerkendal. RBK continued to own the game, but struggled to get shots on goal. Most people were expecting a penalty shootout when Skjelbred became the big hero.
Therefore the game did not end up like last year's against Hønefoss.
