Wigan will visit Lerkendal 9 August.

The Premier League club was supposed to play against Brann in Bergen as a part of the transfer of Paul Scharner, but the Westlanders are tied up with the 2nd qualifying round to the UEFA cup.

"We completely understand Brann's situation. But we felt it was important for us to have a fixture against a top quality team, and the Rosenborg match will be a good test for us," Wigan manager Paul Jewell told the club's website.
