Rosenborg - Stabæk 1-0

After having tried and tried throughout the important Stabæk match, finally Steffen Iversen and Rosenborg got the decisive goal.
"Wonderful to see that ball go in, especially as it was such a short time left," the match winner smiles.
The guests from Bærum had the better opening, but gradually, the home team took charge of the game.
"We were a tad too careful, and lacked the runs forward. During the break we made some adjustments, and in the second half we find room that we explored time and again. That gave us a very strong grip on the game. We haven't controlled a match to that degree earlier this year," Knut Tørum said.
In spite of having played well and creating many chances, we were left waiting for the goal. Until the 81st minute, when Daniel Braaten hammered a cross ball in to Steffen Iversen, who headed into the net via the crossbar.
"It took a while, but the goal came. Per Ciljan Skjelbred did a fantastic run which opened Stabæk's entire goal yard for Steffen, who got a fantastic score," Tørum smiled.
In spite of the win, Rosenborg dropped down to the 3rd spot on the league table after this run. Lillestrøm have as many points, and the goal balance is equal, but they have now scored more goals.
PS! It is already settled that Alexander Tettey will have to pass the cup game against Sandefjord after two yellow cards. Now, he will also have to pass the league match after his third booking in the league.
