Strand gets renewed contract

Roar Strand and Rosenborg have reached agreement - the captain will continue for another year. At least.
The 36-year old signalled before this season that he might end his career, but now he opts to continue until the end of the 2007 season.
"Both he, I and the rest of the club wants him to continue. The most important thing is that he is motivated and can handle it physically, and he is and does," Sports Director Rune Bratseth tells rosenborg.info.
It is also clear that Michael Jamtfall gets a new two-year contract after good performances in several games this summer. The situation for Øyvind Storflor and Ståle Stensaas, who have been offered contracts for two and one year, respectively, is still unclear. Rosenborg awaits the players' decisions.
"This will be clear within the week," Bratseth promises.
The youngsters Aksel Skjølsvik and Christian Sæther Moen (on loan to Haugesund) will not get their contracts renewed, and leave after this season.
