A dark and rainy night

(ROSENBORG - SANDEDFJORD 2-5) The whole of Trøndelag had prepared for a cup final, but today, the capital's hotels will experience a storm of cancellations.
"I am extremely disappointed. We're horrible in defence throughout the first half, and leak like a sieve. We stand like plastic figures inside both 16s, and can't match them in the duels in front of either net. Hence, Sandefjord scores on their chances, and we don't. It is very, very hard to come back when we're down with four goals," Knut Tørum said after his first loss as stand-in coach.
The match was in reality settled with 1-4 at half time.
"What I said at half time will not be revealed. But we got a grip on ourselves, and did an honest try, though it didn't look very good. We ended up passing high balls into the field, and that's a bad strategy against Fredrik Kjølner and Birger Madsen's total 4 meters," the RBK coach states.
- Did the players, as well as the spectators, take the cup final for granted?
"No, I don't think so. We took this game seriously, and wanted badly to win."
- Is it still, in a way, ok to loose in the cup, and not in the league?
"I won't say that, no. The chance of reaching the cup final was something we very much wanted to use, but it blew away, and it ended up as a bad, sad night. We'll just have to shake it off and travel to Skien on Monday," Tørum ends.
