"This was bloody stupid. 2-2 against Bodø/Glimt does not please us, to put it that way. We would very much like to have a victory now, and should definitely have gotten it today. But we spoil it, as we don't score when we have the chances," Trond Henriksen said.
He lead a team plagued with injuries and illnesses, while Knut Tørum is taking the weekend off.
"We don't win because we sleep during two counter attacks, on which Glimt scores. And we actually discussed this issue on beforehand, as we knew the match would look this way," Henriksen said.
But RBK at least managed to score a goal for the first time in 2007: Yssouf Kone set in the first and the last goal of the match. Both goals came from a sharp angle after having been played free on the corner of the 16 meter. On 1-0 he finished at the close post, while the 2-2-goal was set in at the far one.
Between these, though, Glimt scored twice, as first Trond Olsen then Mounir Hamoud was left alone with RBK goalkeeper Alexander Lund Hansen. Rosenborg, on their hand, abused what chances they were given. Kone, Øyvind Storflor and Per Ciljan Skjelbred (hitting the post) had the greatest chances of the first half, while substitute Abdoulrazack Traore was closest in the second, with both a header and a shot.
"This draw was our own fault, when we view the chances we made - especially during the first half. We were alone with the keeper three times in a short period, and could have settled the match. When we don't, we encourage the opponent," Trond Henriksen ascertained.
PS! The match was delayed for over an hour as the Bodø flight was postphoned.
