After two years of absence in European cups Rosenborg are again setting sail for known waters.

Last season was the first since 1988 which RBK did not play in Europe. The league championship somehow endured the lack, but now it is time for a new European tour.
Tomorrow at 12:00 CET the 2nd qualifying round for the Champions League is drawn. Rosenborg will be seeded and will draw one of the winners from the 1st round.
In the 3rd round things get harder. Without any seeding Rosenborg are in danger of facing hard opponents like Liverpool, Arsenal, Sevilla and Valencia. But there are some better options like Glasgow Rangers, Celtic and Anderlecht.
If RBK are knocked out in the 3rd qualifying round, the 1st round of the UEFA Cup is waiting. Defeat already in the 2nd qualifying round however, means an early exit.
