Rosenborg - Aalesund 2-2

RBK lost two vital points against AaFK due to a goal that should not have been.
TWO FATES: While Lars Hirschfeld complains to Terje Hauge, colleague Adin Brown celebrates.

Aalesund-goalie Adin Brown scored with his head four minutes into the additional time after Kibebe had cleared the way by backing into Lars Hirschfeld.
"He obstructed me. He pushed me away, so that another player could score. I cannot believe that the ref didn't see that," Hirschfeld complained.
At that time Rosenborg should have won the game long ago after playing with Aalesund the whole second half. Didier Konan and Daniel Braaten both shot the ball directly onto the goalie - twice each!
On the other half of the pitch the newly bought Jeffrey Aubynn scored on Aalesund's first proper chance, when he got to stand all alone and roll a pass into the net.
Steffen Iversen used his head twice to turn the game around. First he scored on a crossball from Fredrik Stoor, afterwards he passed the ball to Daniel Braaten, who scored.
Rosenborg controlled the whole game, but only got one meager point.
"We didn't create enough chances and we didn't take care of the ones we made. We weren't efficient enough and the goals we got against were very simple. A team that came to Lerkendal without the intention of creating anything offensively left with two goals," an irritated Knut Tørum concluded.
After a season half finished Rosenborg are in sixth place with strong challengers like Brann, Lillestrøm, Viking and Lyn between them and league leaders Stabæk.
PS! Junior players Jo Sondre Aas (18 today!) and Albert Berbatovic (18) were on the substitutes bench for the first time today.
