By Thomas Myren, 4 Januar 2008, 20:26

Uncertain future for Hirschfeld (29/11/07)

Media both in Norway and Romania today reported that Hirschfeld has signed for Cluj. This is now rejected, Adresseavisen states.

The goalkeeper does not want to extend his contract at Rosenborg, which have signed Rune Jarstein from Odd. Thinking on the future, Jarstein already has been promoted first choice.

Therefore a immediate transfer is desirable both for Rosenborg and Hirschfeld: The club gets money while the player do not have to sit on the bench for a year.

Lars Hirschfeld came from Tromsø for free two years ago, and have played all 52 league matches since after ousting Espen Johnsen. In addition he has played 9 cup games and 10 matches in the Champions League.
