Confirms Cluj bid on Koné

Cluj want to sign Yssouf Koné. The question is whether Rosenborg want to sell this summer or let the striker go for free after the season.

Koné rejects to extend his contract, expiring 31 December.
"We have been in dialogue with Yssouf for a long time, but he is ready for new challenges, and that we have to accept," director of sports Erik Hoftun tells rosenborg.info.
Cluj wanted to buy Koné already last November, but a 1 million Euro bid was rejected. Now the Romanian champions try again. Their new bid is assumed to be 1.5 million Euros.
What complicates the decision for Rosenborg, is the new Norwegian summer transfer window. Due to FIFA regulations, the window is reduced to four weeks: 1-31 August. Rosenborg might sell Koné to a foreign club already 1 July, but will not be able to sign a replacement before 1 August.
