RBK were untouchable in the league opening. The guests weren't able to do anything.

10-0 in goal scoring chances, one missed penalty and three goals tells most of the story.
"I'm very happy with the way we won. We're stable, and give them no proper chances. We score three goals and had the opportunity to score plenty more," Erik Hamrén summed up.
Vålerenga got some corners in the beginning, but RBK were the ones who created proper opportunities to score. After half an hour RBK should have gotten their first goal. Alejandro Lago got a penalty kick after having been pushed hard by Freddy dos Santos following a corner.
Steffen Iversen shot just wide of the left post. It was his first miss on a penalty in an obligatory match since he returned in 2006.
"I put it behind me right away and thought "fuck it, let it go". It was the first time for me, and I just continued to work hard to score. And I scored. It felt better than usual," Iversen admitted.
The goal came into overtime in the first half, when he caught the rebound from Troy Perkins after a long shot by Marek Sapara. That led to a psychic breakdown for VIF.
Trond Olsen continued the party after an hour, when he from a near dead angle deftly shot into the upper left corner with his prescise left foot. He couldn't have started his RBK-career in a better way!
"I saw that the goalie tried to cheat like he expects a crossball or something. The goal was open at the nearest post, so I attempted a shot. It was great fun seeing it hit the net," he smilingly told rosenborg.info.
Then the game was crowned with a dream attack: Per Ciljan Skjelbred and Mikael Lustig played one-twos before Lustig took the ball with him using the heel and sent it off to Alexander Tettey, who threw himself forward and scored 3-0 with his head. Beautiful!
"We shouldn't take it for granted that we will play like this in every game, and we have to work hard to keep it up. I'm certain Hamrén will remind us of that. We have to keep it up like this the whole season," Iversen concluded.
PS! Kris Stadsgaard (knee), Juska Savolainen (groin), Espen Johnsen (knee) and Michael Jamtfall (knee) were out due to injuries.
