Rosenborg - Strømsgodset 3-0

It seemed like Strømsgodset were to steal points from RBK for the fifth game in a row, but substitute Steffen Iversen was not going to accept that.
THE LEADING GOAL: 83 minutes had passed when Iversen scored.

"He scored two goals and was very involved in the match. He turned the game around for us. He was very good," Rade Prica boasted.
Iversen started on the bench due to a light throat infection, and RBK struggled with finding their way to the goal in the first half. A low shot by Anthony Annan past the post, one heavy Prica-shot that hit the keeper directly and a Prica-header following a corner was what Rosenborg managed to produce before half time.
"We often hear that we played badly in the first half, but the second half was the result of the hard work we put down before the break. We were up against a very well organized and defensive team, and that makes it hard to be constructive. Being destructive is easier," Erik Hamrén pointed out.
After the pause Rosenborg found out that it would pay to try some long shots. Iversen went first against Lars Ivar Moldskred, who barely was able to box the ball to a corner. Roar Strand, standing in for U21-EM-participant Mikael Lustig, followed up by a twist shot that went just wide.
Prica created the biggest chance, when he from 25 meters shot into the inside of the left post that bounced to the inside of the right post, and from there bounced back.
"We should have scored earlier. When Rade had a "post, post, out" I feared that this might be one of those days..." Hamrén admitted.
In the 83 minute the first goal came- a beutiful one with efficient play and excellent one-two`s between Prica, substitute Didier Konan and Iversen, who elegantly lobbed the ball over an eager Moldskred.
"The smartest thing you can do in those situations is lifting the ball above the keeper. If you try to shoot you often miss," Steffen Iversen revealed.
The match was decided, but RBK scored twice more: Iversen got to stand alone by the backmost post and head in a crossball from Prica, then Prica himself found the way to the net with a shot from 20 meters.
"We are strong physically. We always outplay the opponent in the second half," Rade Prica concluded.
