Hello all foreign fans of Rosenborg!

Do you want to make a colective fanpages? I have an idea of this:
- Each fan (if he wants of course) would make a pages in his mother tongue
- Our pages would have one colective page where a visitor could go to all pages (such a quide-post)
- We would have one dobat-forum for all languages, it could be interesting Razz

What do you think about it?
Is here anybody who is able to make some nice first page?

Please write your opinions!! Thanks!

 rbk.webpark.cz, Jan Novotny, Czech Republic
Arrow RBK-Supporter Deutschland, Michael Kitze, Germany
Arrow rosenborg.de, Michael Kitze, Germany
Arrow Rosenborg Norge, Rogerio Andrade, Brazil

Are there any more?

O.K. We can make the first page where a visitor can choose where he wants to go.
We would need a good address for our page.

Sorry for bringing on an old topic, but while reading through the archived topics...

I think this idea is making sense, and I in fact would be very happy to make a Rosenborg page in Dutch (my native tongue). If it can be a help to promote the club, I'd be very happy to do it and spread the RBK passion.

I don't know any HTML though, but I guess finding a template in black-and-white colours can't be that hard... Webspace is not a problem.

If you think there would be interest in Israeli football scene, then I'd say: go for it!

All you need is some webspace (which is very easy to arrange) and a program like Microsoft Frontpage.

I am currently learning Dreamweaver, once I have gotten the basics I'd fancy making a Rosenborg site in Dutch maybe. I am not sure if there would be many potentials fans in the Benelux, but I can always try, it definitely cannot do harm to try spreading the word on Rosenborg!

I gave the idea some thought and begin to start to like that idea of building a Dutch-language Rosenborg site (I'd put an English translation online as well for the Norwegian RBK fans).

The only problem is building it. I know no HTML at all, and I am beginning to experiment with DreamWeaver, but it can take a while before I really understand the DreamWeaver progam.

So I'd need either a very simple instruction manual for Dreamweaver or Frontpage, or either I'd need a pre-built template (in black-white and containing RBK's logo or a picture of a player) so that I only need to write articles and copy-paste them to that template to upload.

You can use free domain ".tk"! So for example "www.rosenborg.tk"!

You'll find many free templates here: freewebtemplates.com.

It's quite easy to change the colours, so it doesn't have to black and white to begin with. (Unless it have to be because of your skills.)

Depends on how easy it is to handle them. I am now learning the basics of Dreamweaver, usually I understand something rather slowly but once I do understand it I will develop more in-depth knowledge rapidly through experimenting. I guess I just need to get the basics and then the rest will follow. It'd be nice to have a sort of white centre for all articles, then a black header for the title, with RBK's logo in the corner. If the logo cannot be used for fan websites, then I could use a picture of a player instead to make the page look more "RBK-esque". The main attention of websites should be the content of course, I can easily write Dutch and French articles about RBK trying to encourage people to get interested in our club, but of course a minimum of nice graphics are needed to make the page look somewhat okay. If it looks like a Microsoft Word document with only letters on a white background, people will not bother reading because it looks amateuristic.

A domainname is never a problem. .TK is free, and even .CO.UK, .NL, .COM, .INFO and .EU are cheap as hell. For less than 1$ a year you can buy an .INFO domain, and .COM only costs about 9$ a year: www.domainsite.com

I know, however I find it very important that the webhost makes daily back-ups, and I'm afraid free webhosts will never do that.

Is that easy-webbuilding software not available from any download site? I could then install it on my own webspace and use it to build a nice RBK site in Dutch/French...

Bad memory? Wink

"It started when I was about 15 years old. I was already wery fond of Scandinavia, I did specially like the Norwegian nature. So I did some research, and "fell" for the football club of Trondheim. They are open and treats their fans well. Besides they were very good in the Champions League, so the choice was simple."

I still would be keen on making a Dutch fanwebsite but the webhosting costs could be a problem as I already ordered a different site recently and already spent a lot on my relocation before... so I need to be careful financially. Is there any free or very cheap webhost worth using (= reliable)?
