That package seems great. How do they keep that service up and running when they offer so much without asking any money from their customers?
Are they reliable? I mean, if they offer such a service to the users without getting money from the customers or from advertisements, then how are they going to survive financially long-term? Have you tried frac.dk yourself? _________________ Rosenborg, forever pride of the North!

Sure... I've tried it. Not a very serious project, and its last update was a while ago.
And... Eh.. Don't bother to ask for a translation of the title in the front page

But how reliable is this webhost?
Do they exist for quite a while yet without any problems? Are they stable? Likely to stay in existance for a long time? Do they offer free templates to build your site with?
It seems too good to be true that a company can survive long time when they don't get any money from advertisements or customers. Most companies offering such free webhosting go out of business quite rapidly. That is why I am asking how long they've been existing: usually that indicates how reliable and stable a free webhost is. Freewebs for example have been existing for over 5 years now so they are proven to be stable. _________________ Rosenborg, forever pride of the North!

That's quite expensive. EDIT: No, it's free...
This one costs €1 a month. Don't expect the best customer service, but it works. |

For free hosts: if you want to know how likely they will survive long-term, always check how long they have been existing already and how their record's been so far. For example: if you see how long Geocities and Freewebs exist already, it is unlikely to see them go out of business anytime soon so you can consider those to be quite stable.
erlendmf, did you receive my PM about frac.dk ? Do they make back-ups of their websites? How long do they exist already and are they any stable?
For paid websites, I recommend vidahost.com - excellent and very rapid customer support. _________________ Rosenborg, forever pride of the North!

I'm working on a hebrew fan site for around 2 weeks now, but I'll really need help with some stuff like:
-sites that are updated with results, tables, previous games, next games
-current squad, history.................
-other leagues, europe etc etc...
-.......................................
If one of you could help me out I'd really appreciate it and it will help me finish the site
Thanks in advance. _________________ ~GA

I decided to also go for it and build a Dutch language RBK fansite. I will begin writing the articles this week but the launch of the site could take a few weeks, depending how the works progress. Anyway, I already bought a domainname for the site I would like to ask: is there a few logos, stadium pictures and player pictures that are not copyright protected so that I can use them for the site?
PS Green Apes: looking forward to seeing your finished site, buddy _________________ Rosenborg, forever pride of the North!

Great
You can ask 2mas/RBKweb or Rosenborg whether you can borrow some photos. I believe Rosenborg would like the publicity. They have covered foreign fansites in some news articles earlier, so they do appreciate them. |

The club crest is copyrighted and can not be used in any commercial way, but I use it in articles etc.
The player photos at rbk.no are free to be used in articles. |

What I need:
- the crest/logo
- stadium pictures
- pictures of all players
It is for a fansite, thus promotion for the club. I hope that I can use those pictures and logo for my site without any hassle, a fansite without logo and player pictures would be a bit "incomplete".
If possible I also thought of adding some media files, for example the goals of RBK versus AC Milan and Real Madrid during the golden years. My technical knowledge is maybe a bit limited though to add mediafiles, as I just use Dreamweaver for webbuilding.
Anyways, I will start writing on the articles. If I could get some official player pictures, stadium pictures and such that I can use without legal problems, that would be great!
What I also think of including in the site is a short description of the city of Trondheim, an overview of flights going from the Benelux to Trondheim (or flights to Oslo and bus connections to T'heim), an overview of fanclubs including contact addresses, ...
The domainname I bought is rosenborg-benelux.com . _________________ Rosenborg, forever pride of the North!

Because the most visitors of my pages can´t speak Czech I have made a new part of my web - In English. The link is at the bottom of menu. Enjoy
By the way, on Tuesday I met another fan of RBK in the Czech Republic. We have met each other for the first time but no for the last time! He wanted to bring some things from the fan-shop so he has scarf, cap and several small things. _________________ http://www.fb.com/norskyfotbal |

Nice. I like your interview with Sapara. Did you communicate in English? What was he like? |

Not in English, I spoke in Czech he in Slovak. It is not problem to uderstand each other. And it was of course one moment in Norway I could use Czech . Marek is a nice person, it is possible to see after matches - his celebrations with fans, he is very friendly with us, fans. There are not all of the interview in the article (also it is not in Czech version), for example "troubles" with his girlfriend - his homecoming after the training session is a start of Lucia´s focus on Marek. But he is often tired and has not a mood for anything. I think the first days in Norway could be hard for Marek because he didn´t speak even English properly, he didn´t know anyone from Trondheim... _________________ http://www.fb.com/norskyfotbal |
