Seems in fact like I haven't mentioned the not so well known secret: Free transfer from AIK

Jarstein has so far not be willing to extend his contract. Wonder whether RBK signed Ã–rlund because of Jarstein's contract situation or that Jarstein rejected after the Ã–rlund deal was informally known.

Associated Press has actually made a report(!):

"It was a simple choice," Oerlund said.

"I've had a good run with AIK, but if I wanted to go to a bigger and better club I had to go to Rosenborg."

Jarstein has good attributes and potential but then again, if he doesn't want to stay we can't do anything about it. He'd be pretty foolish IMO to leave now, especially with the potential stage of the CL coming up next year where he could showcase his abilities to all of Europe.

Always good to have two strong keepers though so hopefully the Swede is talented nonetheless.

Jarstein want to stay the whole season and then speculate in a Bosman move. Rosenborg should however not have interest in such, and a sale is possible already in January.
