While Jarstein signed a 4-year deal with Viking today, Rosenborg and Fredrikstad have agreed on a transfer for Erik Bråthen.
The former U21 international was last year second choice behind Lasse Staw before playing some matches (4 league and 3 cup) in the summer. Then Kenny Stamatopoulos (on loan from Tromsø) again pushed him out of the starting line-up.
Actually a bit surprising move by Staw, who likely could have established himself as first choice in Fredrikstad this season. |

Surprising by Staw or by Bråthen?

Bråthen, not Staw. My apologies. |

They look good on paper now. But, Viking usually does that without showing themself as a real treath come season-heat. Nevland dosn't arrive befor the summer, eighter. THey are also trying to sign forer RBK-rightback Fredrik Stoor from Fulham, but have had no luck in the department yet. If they sucseed, I personaly think Åge Haredie and his men for once kan prove as a real challanger for the title. And I actually don't mind that. I think Viking deserve that much. _________________ Det er bedre å stupe ut i smørøyet enn å gå rundt grøten! |
