I am very glad that Rosenborg won its second match too. But I don´t know any details of this match. Can you tell me DOES SOME SERVER ABOUT NORSK FOTBALL (except adressa.no/fotball) where I can find more information?
I hope RBK will be as sovereign as last year!!

The translator is now back from the Fredrikstad match and will at once publish an English match report here at rbkweb. |

I must say that these pages are GREAT for foreign Rosenborg fans! I know what is new, I can read legent next pictures (but I learn norsk!!!).
One question: how do you travel to matches in other towns? Here, in the Czech Rep., is ordinary to travel by train (some fans have special trains for their own). I could see buses, but its very expensive, isn´t it?
I hope I will meet you and hole Rosenborg in some match in the Czech Republic. And I will be able to fan ROOOOOSENBORG or other cheers for the first time!! _________________ http://www.fb.com/norskyfotbal |

Firstly: Big parts of Norway don't have train!
Secondly: It is usually cheaper and faster to travel with bus in Norway. The railway is old-fashioned (just a few lines with high speed) and expensive.
The last time Rosenborg supporters organized a train trip to an away game was in 2001, when we played against Lillestrøm (just outside Oslo). |

After 4 games, Rosenborg have 2 wins and 2 draws (8 of 12 points), and the media have started they hunt for blood: "Bad opening for Rosenborg" etc.
But then suddenly on Tuesday, VG, Norway's biggest newspaper, realized that the opening hadn't been that bad for Rosenborg (link: RBK-starten bedre enn «normalt»). RBK are slow starters, and this year's opening has actually been a pretty good one.
And if someone still think Rosenborg have had a bad season start: We have met some of the best teams in Norway: Lillestrøm, Viking and Brann! |

I am very pleased by the victory against Hamar 5:0. I think it is very important to get into the "old track" . I hope that Rosenborg will continue to 13th title in a row!!

I have a problem with name of the team from Oslo. You use VÃ¥lerenga but in the Czech Republic is used VÃ¥lerengen. What is in the right???

Both "engen" and "enga" means the same, namely "the meadow".
The correct name is "Vålerenga". "Engen" is used in some dialects, especially in the western parts of Norway; and it is further used by "refined upper-class citizens" that generally thinks the -a ending is something reserved for the working classes. Vålerenga is an east-end club and frowns upon the west-end snobs (read: FC Stabæk and FC Lyn Oslo). |

Not really.
The club is still named VÃ¥lerengens Idrettsforening (VIF), shortened VÃ¥lerengen. But the last 15 years the club have been written their name as it is pronouced among people: VÃ¥lerenga.
"Czech rbk fan" mention the Czech Repulic, and I also see that newspapers in e.g. Sweden refer to VÃ¥lerengen. |

Ah yes. I ignored the fact that many clubs use the "old" spelling of the name as official. Like RBK's official name is "Rosenborg Ballklub" even tough it's now written "Ballklubb". Rant rant. |

Not really. People from Oslo (mostly from Oslo East) pronounce it without the ER: VÃ¥l'enga. |

As I know, this is the correct:
1: Champions League 3rd qualifying round
2: Champions League 2nd qualifying round
3: UEFA Cup 2nd qualifying round
Cupwinner: UEFA Cup 2nd qualifying round |

What shall I say?
Tonight Lyn Oslo saved Rosenborg. They beated Tromsø, and therefore Rosenborg still is leading the league with a "good" margine; 2 points ahead of Vålerenga Oslo and 3 points ahead of Tromsø .
Rosenborg opened tonight's away match against Odd Grenland in a good way. Øyvind Storflor was great as he was in Athens, and in the 8th minute RBK got a penalty after a freekick from Storflor. But the shot from Frode Johnsen was poor; Odd's new German goalkeeper, Heinz Müller, saved easily.
Then Ørjan Berg had to leave the field after a bad tackle from Olivier Occean (bl*ody Canadian, you know, RBKcanada ), and the rest of the game was pretty poor in a Rosenborg sight of view. Odd scored twice just before the break, and in the 2nd half they played defensively and scored on a counter attack.
"When we have lost our third game in a row, I as coach am a bit worried. But there had been more reason to worry if we had played bad football. Our biggest problem in the moment is that we are to weak in the decisive parts of the matches," coach Ola By Rise said after the 0-3 loss for Odd. |

Well, we are 2 points ahead with 5 matches to go. We are in the lead, and we'll hold on to and increase that lead during the next matches.
Yes, we can lose in theory, but don't you worry. |

I think we will win but now we have two matches with bad results and it can be hard for psyche of players. I hope players such as Berg, Hoftun, Brattbakk show young players the right way.
We have four (relative) easy rivals - Sogndal, Stabaek, Ham-Kam, Bodo and one difficult rival - Lyn, but home and it will be the last match.
We will see,I hope I will be able to celebrate the title!! _________________ http://www.fb.com/norskyfotbal |

It will be interesting to see a title-war between Valerenga and RBK. I hope RBK will be succesful. So 14th title in a row will be our, of course!!

Oh, it is so difficult to be clever at all successes of RBK . I thought the 13th title, of course. But the 14th will be our too!!
I will sit in front of my TV and to see teletext and I will be a twit! I hope Rosenborg will win 3:1 in Bodo and Hamar - Valerenga 1:1 .
And would you be so kind and tell me some web-pages where I can find on-lines from RBK matches? Thank you! _________________ http://www.fb.com/norskyfotbal |
