Great signing... Karadas was what we need... someone to end up our great attack plays and turn in goals the crosses... he will be very usefull in the future...Nuno Gomes and Mantorras are injured. He wont play for Rosenborg today he wants to play in Benfica for Champions League THanks for giving him to us so cheap (1.5 million euros) and... hope to see you soon... to beat you again eheheh xauuuuu |

Karadas is a great player, so you should be happy about getting him.
We are sorry to see him go, but he didn't score enough goals to be in the starting 11.
His talent is huge, so I'll bet your coaches can get the best out of him.
Good luck in your champions league qualifing, and I hope it will be years until we meet again. |

That's ok, we have a tradition of selling off our weakest players. Enjoy. |

Yes, Iversen, Heggem, Carew etc.....
Karadas is a great player, and it was a mistake to sell him. |

Iversen, stupid fuck is your mother and it really was 1.5 million euros, that was the deal and we made it, because Karadas wanted to leave your club... he needed something bigger eheh
Trapattoni is going to make him a killer machine... you will see him score goals in the Champions league...
Anderlecht... say goodbye to champions league |

Well, several could have been sold had they wanted to. Several large European clubs have through the times (Hoftun, Strand) or lately (Basma, Riseth) been interested. This winter, Serie A club Siena wanted Solli. French club Lens was interested in Daniel Braaten this winter, but he ended up in RBK this summer. Karadas had long wanted to play abroad and was allowed to leave.
Nearly all the squad could be sold to larger or smaller European clubs, but why should we want that? We're not that poor. Also, it's possible to win something in Rosenborg. Domestic, naturally. And you're more or less guaranteed European cup play; the club has participated in the CL each year since 1995, apart from last year when we had to enter the UEFA cup.
That said, many players have been sold from RBK after successful play in the CL. Iversen to Tottenham; Kvarme/Heggem/ Leonardsen/Bjørnebye to Liverpool; Brattbakk/Stensaas to Scotland (both have returned); Runar Berg to Venezia; Bergdølmo to Ajax; Bragstad to Derby County; Carew to Valencia; Hjelde to Nottingham Forest; Rushfeldt to Racing club Santander (and now Austria Wien); Sørensen to Borussia Dortmund... |

Yeah, last year Riseth rejected a good offer from big shot Olympique Marseille, who later went through to the UEFA Cup final.
Basma have had several offers from Premier League clubs etc., while in late 90s, almost every first team player in Rosenborg had the possiblity to move abroad. As listed above, many grabbed the chance, but some of the most popular players did stay in RBK: Erik Hoftun (even though clubs like AC Milan neogoatied with RBK), Roar Strand etc. |

You gotta make it INTO CL first (you wusses!)
It also says a bit about the quality of our team that you are exited about a player that we have benched. _________________ Svein Sjovold |
