Miller set to sign for New York Red Bulls

Hopefully we got some dollars for him, but Rosenborg is likely quite happy just not to pay his salary in 2010.

RBNY loves to pick up others rejects. With the exception of Juan Pablo Angel, RBNY has a long, long list of failed international signings.

I guess the Roy signing came from Eric Soler's comfort zone.

Red Bull New York announced today that it has signed Costa Rican defender Roy Miller. Miller will be added to the team's Senior Roster after he gets P-1 visa approval, passes a physical and the club receives receipt of his International Transfer Certificate (ITC).

"I have followed Roy for a few years and I am confident that he will be able to adjust well to Major League Soccer," said Red Bull New York General Manager and Sporting Director Erik Soler.

Probably a poor signing, especially compared to Lustig and the departed Stoor. Goodluck to him in MLS.

He's a left back, and was bought to replace Dorsin.

Sorry, I meant in terms of new defenders brought in at the time.
