Thomas Myhre copied his performance against Turkey minutes ago against Stabæk. Earlier today Jan Kjell Larsen had a mistake. High goalkeeping standard!

Alex Lund Hansen somewhat should be Jarstein's biggest rival also on the national team. He did however injured his ancle in the RBK2 game against Strindheim yesterday. Therefore he most likely can't challenge Jarstein for a place in the starting line-up against Viking on Sunday.

Quote:
A point is NOT okay, not after we were leading 2-0 and looked in control.

Not when we lose two more points because our keeper can't hold on to an easy ball.

Jarstein has been dropping the ball [physically and metaphorically] too much, and something must be done.
Sadly, our two other keepers aren't much more consistent, so the chances of a blunder are high anyway.

I understand what you mean, especially given Jarstein's inconsistency but as 2mas mentions, hardly any team in the league has no goalkeeping worries.

By the way, RAJ has just saved a penalty! Hopefully Mhyre makes his 'usual' mistake and we win. (At this point, half-time, Hamren should be telling Sappy to shoot on site!)

[Daniel] Nannskog cannot see Rosenborg losing a seven-point lead at the top of the table.

"They have by far the best squad and deserve to be champions," he said.

"Maybe it's good for Norwegian football if Rosenborg win the league year after year like they did in the 1990s. They have the resources to make an impression in Europe, and Rosenborg doing well will benefit the national side."

It's early but it's clear already that only Molde can stop us from winning the league this year. (Thats offcourse if we don't stop ourselves, which is highly unlikely at this stage with everything going so well.)

I think that the only way that Rosenborg can lose the title is if they throw it away. The team is solid and the induvidual quality is too good for the other teams!

Ah okay . . . I didn't look that far down to find this thread.

Well, I hope to update this with RBK matches for us non-norge speakers.

League done IMO, it would take a massive collapse now to see Molde nick it.

Time to think about celebrating a return to the top and offcourse CL next year. Smile

Wow, Rade Prica is on FIRE today. 3 goals for Rade all in the second half against Lyn.

Does that make 17 goals for the season for Prica? Awesome!

RBK!

Well, sometimes it goes against you and sometimes it doesn't right? Play until you hear the whistle.

Cool

Before this match Molde (98 ) and Rosenborg shared the record of being unbeaten from the start of a season, 21 matches without a loss. Today we can forget about Molde - again. Smile

RBK coach Hamrén was not impressed with his teams efforts during the first half.

“No, Nannskog had two great scoring opportunities within the first couple of minutes that really scared us. We became very defensive and was not able to play our game the way we wanted to. We do not play well, and Stabæk is much better than us the first 45 minutes. We are lucky that we are able to go to half time with a 0 – 1 lead given the way we play in the first half. In the second half we take more controll over the game and play good football. I think, thus, that it is fair that we win in the end. We have several other big scoring opportunities where we could have scored, but today it was enough with the two goals we did score, so we are happy. Stabæk has won the last seven games here in Telenor Arena, and we considered this to be one of our most difficult matches in the fall season. It shows strength that we can win on days like these. And we are very happy that we leave here with three points”, says Hamrén smilingly as he heads for the players bus.

DON'T take the victory in advance. Rosenborg may still lose it at the finishing line.

We'll do well to keep hold of him an some others. I trust Hamren though should we most likely lose Sappy and PCS.
