Of the teams from Norway in the cup, and the teams they are facing. Who do you think will go through? |

Rosenborg and Newcastle of course. Who else?
Newcastle are ten times better than VÃ¥lerenga, Rosenborg are hopefully a better team than Benfica.
Rosenborg vs Newcastle in the UEFA Cup final, wouldn't that be nice? _________________ Rosenborg - Ingen over, ingen ved siden |

Considering the training options, Benfica should have a advance on RBK, since Norway is all icy and snowy this time of year, and only had played some indoor-matches.
"LOLOL dream on, people... Norwegian teams are too weak... " . Yepp, average, your teams is better, we have only 1 really good team in Norway, of course I am talking about RBK.
But RBK is better then your best team. You have the best league, but we have the best team ..
So, if this match has been played in the autumn, I think RBK have won with ease, but in Februar, March, the match is open. Looking forward to it. _________________ -RBK |

Well, it's some time sinse Benefica last time got an european title.. Rosenborg are perhaps not better if we see at the history, but I think we are a team now that will be a hard mach for Benefica.. And is'nt Rosenborg ranked over Benefica by UEFA??? Don't take to easy on this mach _________________ UN99 |

I see that Benfica fans are like Red Star fans...living in the past. Portuguese teams were good once but not any longer...those days have come and gone. Maybe Porto would give us a fight but the Benfica's, Sporting's, Academica's and Belenenses's of the world will prove little trouble for Rosenborg. Benfica won't be easy but playing in icy Norway will be the end of them. A 1-1 draw in Lisbon will be followed by a 3-0 Rosenborg win in Trondheim! Welcome to our Hell Benfica!!! |

Funny... that's exactly what the Red Star fans told us too, and look what happened to them. Tsk tsk tsk...
I think Benfica may be in for a very rude surprise come march... _________________ "Engang en ret forvoven Jyde

LoL living in the past... you guys really dont know who yer messing with... Benfica is not partizan, as I said... and you know, benfica is used to play against defensive and couter attack teams, we are full of it here in portugal, so it will be easy...football is not everybody to defense, and throw balls forward to see if some player wins the ball in the air..., that, my friends, is just sooooo easy for us you wont even touch the ball, because benfica circulates the ball with precision, and when not with the ball we play with high pressure, so that we win the ball in rival defences. We might not win titles in some time, but the soul is there Benfica is back

If yoy think Rosenborg plays like the norwegian national team has done for ages, you're wrong. We play offensive counter attack football with a direct passing style. The ball is supposed to go fast forward through the midfield players, and your side-backs will have to follow our wingers closely. This will not be an easy game for any part. And both Rosenborg and Benfica can win this match. Rosenborg will be a tough opponent for Benfica. Believe me or not, but we will! _________________ Rosenborg - Ingen over, ingen ved siden |

Rosenborg played against Red Star, and not Partizan, in the 2nd round of the UEFA Cup.
And as "Joakleis" writes, RBK don't play like our national team did for years. Actually the national team of Norway now want to copy the Rosenborg style! This is because last year's Rosenborg coach, Ã…ge Hareide, just before christmas replaced Nils Johan Semb as Norway coach. |

RBK has always played aggressive football, and in case you hadn't noticed, there's a 'new wind blowing' when it comes to our national team as well. Four games played, 15-3 in goal-difference in our favour...
Discussions like these usually degenerate into posturing and machismo anyway, but I do think that Rosenborg stand a very good chance against Benfica. _________________ "Engang en ret forvoven Jyde

Well...that you will have to prove in field... talk is easy... and as i see, Rosenborg drawed 4-4 with DInamo Kiev and, by what i heard in the news, your goal keeper saved a lot of certain goals and your team was completly dominated (scoring some lucky goals)... well if you play like that in da Luz... lol... no comment

Our goalkeeper (Espen Johnsen) didn't even play half the match, he went off because of an injury, but he'll be ready for Wednesday.

We created just as many chances as Dinamo Kiev, even though they had the ball more, remember possesion doesn't mean anything in football, goals do. And I would rate Dinamo Kiev as better team than Benfica, so I think we've got a good chance of going through to the 4th round, but it certainly won't be easy, considering that we haven't played a real football match in about 3 months.
At the moment it looks as if Benfica is losing to Nacional (3-2, 75 mins. played), too bad |

You're absolutely correct, Good defence is only half the game. Which is why we're really, really keen to show you the other half of our game on wednesday...
It ain't over yet, benfica... _________________ "Engang en ret forvoven Jyde

lol i have to say that Benfica plays better away from home, because the team has no pressure from the supporters, that always want lots of goals. We do really score many away goals, and if we score one in Trondheim...eheh...
By the way, what did you think about our stadium? |
